Trip to Fårup.

We took a trip to Fårup Sommerland with Sørens family. We had a super fun day, and the weather was perfect. We had made lunch at home to bring to the park so we didn't have to wait in line for expensive food :) In the park there is this huge waterpark. The girls had lots of fun there too. Don't think the dads enjoyed it so much, as they were freezing :) At the end of the day we went to our house and had supper. A great end to a great day.

Holiday-trips.

We have all three had one week of vacation together. We spend it doing trips to the Zoo, the aquarium and spending time with Sørens younger brother and his family.

Huge fish at the aquarium.

Touching the fishes.

From the zoo. Petting a horse.

And petting goats.

The zoo has this dinosaur exhibit right now. They have made huge dinosaurs in original sizes and put them different places in the zoo. They even move and have sounds too. The one in the picture eas a dressup dino. All the kids thought it was real. But cannot blame them, it looked real.

The icebear showing of :) It swam right in front of the girls putting its big paws on the glas.

Beach.

The weather here in Denmark has been real warm the last couple of weeks, and as most of you know, I love that :) We have had some long warm summerevenings, where we could go to the beach to have a swim or sit outside on the porch... Hope this weather will stay.
The only bad thing about it is that it is almost to hot to work ;) But we manage.. The shop has aircondition :)

Bike rides.

Søren has been riding mountain bike for a little more than a year now, and he has been asking me several times if I wanted to try it. Same answer every time: No thanks :) One day a couple of months ago a gave in and agreed to try it.. I was very surprised to find out that I just loved it. It is so refreshing, you burn lots of calories and I love spending this time with Søren. So now I'm as addicted to riding my mountain bike as Søren is, if not more. I hate it when I haven't been riding for a couple of days. Wednesday we went for a bike ride, and ended up riding 71 km. I was surprised that I could do it, and I was a little proud when we returned home :)

This is taken on a 52 km bikeride.

Riding camp.

Christine went to riding camp the first week of July. It started Tuesday and ended Saturday. It was a sleep-over riding camp, and we had been a little excited to see if Christine would stay the whole week. But we didn't need to worry, because we didn't hear from her at all :) She LOVED it! They were up early every morning to help feed the horses and clean the stables. They learned jumping, and learned about horsemanship, and a lot of other things. Saturday we were invited to come have lunch with them and see what they had learned. It was a fun day, and we were so happy to see how much she had learned and how much she had enjoyed beeing a "real" horse-girl.
