Christmas.

So finally December 24th came, but Christine has been far more excited for the 23rd to come, because that day Fiona came :) It was a big day for the girls to see eachother again, though it was only two months since they last saw eachother. And the funniest part was that they couldn't care less about Christmas and all the gifts. They were totally satisfied just playing with eachother.
Well the 24th started out as always, we went to lunch at Søren's uncle house, because it is his Birthday on the 24th. We got to see lots of the family and wish them a Merry Christmas. Then in the afternoon Jesper (Søren's younger brother), June (Jesper's wife), and their two girls, Fiona and Luna came. And ofcourse Santa (as he was a little busy in the evening). The girls got their huge gift from Santa. Christine and Fiona got each a playmobil castle, but just looked at the box and said "let's go play again", and then went to Christine's room :) It has been so funny to see how they have just played, and not even asked for gifts or when it was time to unwrap them.. Just before supper time my brother, his family, my mom and Søren's parents came.. We had the traditional Christmas dinner, we danced around the Christmas tree and we exchanged gifts.. Christine got so many toys, don't know where we will put them :) it was anwonderful evening, and I especially was so happy to be able to celebrate with brother and his family for the first time in many years..
Now it is the 25th, and we are waiting for Jesper, June, Fiona, Luna and Søren's parent to come and eat leftovers for lunch. And of course Christine is so excited to play with Fiona again today.

Lots of news.

Ok friends.. My blog app has been down, and I do hope it is back to working again. So on November 24th Søren left for India. He was there for two weeks, and Christine and I missed him very much, but we did keep a little busy, so time would go faster. After dropping up Søren in the airport, we took a trip to Build-a-bear. Christine got two new build-a-bears. A bunny named Molly and a polar bear named Snowball. She loves them and bring especially Snowball everywhere.
Every Friday we swim from 5pm to 6 pm, and Christine loves it.
The first Saturday Søren was gone, the school hosted a little Christmas fair. It was lots of fun, and they had crafts for the kids to do, and the kids had made this little program with songs. They were so cute and did really good. We had a fun day with grandma Larsen and grandma Andersen.
Christine baked, and made a candlelight decoration for the dining table. After the fair ended, we went home and decorated our Christmas tree. So hopefully soon we will be ready for Christmas :)
It was a big day for both Christine and I when we had to go pick up Søren on December 8th. We were very excited to have him back home.
Last Thursday Christine walked as a Lucia Bride with all the other kids at school. It was a nice little arrangement.
Friday December 23rd Søren's younger brother and his family will be home to celebrate Christmas. On the 24th we will be 14 people here to celebrate. This year my brother gave in and decided to come to our house, and I cannot wait to celebrate Christmas with my brother, my S-I-L, my sweet niece and my sweet nephew for the first time in years. On New Years eve my best friend, Elsebeth, will come to our house, and we will have lots of fun, and no kids this evening.
We want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
